you’re probably right. we probably are in similar retarded situations.
Eternally frustrating with no solid answer. Sound familiar?
too familiar! at least we’re not alone on this one. girl power! haha
Haha, amen! Well at least I’m in good company
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me baby!
I tried to find a video to post from A Goofy Movie, but there are too many hilarious scenes that I can’t narrow it down to one. But, I had to have Bobby in whatever picture I finally decided to post because Pauly Shore makes this movie.
Part one - School, volleyball game, Sweet Tomatoes
Part two - Nap time, Brian shows up at my house
Part three - Watch A Goofy Movie, stay up until four talking to Burke and Vince
But it was definitely one of the best days I’ve had in awhile
Stephen here,
I’m currently sitting in the front row of the van on our way to Chicago. We left a little late this morning, but it ends up working in our favor considering Illinois is an hour behind Eastern Standard Time. That’s such an odd concept to me, the idea of Time Zones; you can drive a few hundred miles and somehow add an extra hour to your life.
Time in itself is a strange concept, people, including myself, are slaves to time. We all want things as fast as possible, whether it be the food we ordered at a restaurant, the arrival of an event or the feeling of being in love, everyone wants what they want, and they want it now.
Technology is partially to blame. We live in an age where communication is virtually instantaneous, in fact, as I’m writing this I’ve looked at my phone ten times to see if I’ve received a reply to a text message from someone back home.
Although I’m still inpatient, I have been making a conscious effort lately to enjoy what I have right now. I don’t want to worry about tomorrow, I don’t want to worry about getting what I want today.
I want to be free from the shackles of time.
I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours. — Henry David Thoreau
Meaning I won’t let the first four days of this week mess it up :)
