Thank you for “Where is My Mind.” Not once, not twice, but three times I have used it in school videos, presentations or just listened to. Also, the line, “You met me at a very strange time in my life,” would not be nearly as beautifully eerie if it wasn’t for your song. One last thing, I have listened to more of your music, it’s just that this song is relentlessly my favorite. So once again, thanks.

So, there’s been a different priest the past few weeks and I have to say, I love him! He is funny, uses props, and doesn’t try to force Catholicism down our throats but sends out a message that can and should be lived out, despite religion. Such as the one from today, “Keep It Simple.” Don’t stress about material gifts, especially because of the recession, but rather give gifts from the heart, write a letter or a song, paint a picture, use God given talents to put a smile on another’s face. So, that is what I will be attempting from here on out, keeping it simple.

Is it weird how much I enjoy going to the movies alone?

Last night I went and saw this, yes, by myself. But thank God I did. Within the first 10 minutes I was tearing up and by the end I had the heavy breathing sob going on. Okay, I’ll admit it, I was straight blubbering. However, this movie was nothing I expected. I went in thinking it would be similar to The Family Stone or any other holiday related family movie, but boy was I wrong.

This is so difficult. I’m trying as hard as I can to keep them all a secret but I am the worst at not giving myself away! I’m highly considering giving each of them a painting, but I’m not sure what any of them are interested in. Well, either way I just realized that I’m not only giving four gifts, but also getting four. How lame is it that on each of the lists that asked what I would like, I put socks.
